With humble beginnings in a town in Burkina Faso, West Africa, Latifa began braiding and styling hair for her daughter and other neighborhood women. It was apparent from a very young age that Latifa had a passion for hair and beauty. She later blessed Brooklyn with those talents and is now one of the most prominent African Hair Braiding Salons on the East Coast.
